  • Reduction of dynamic loads, increasing the life of the downhole equipment
  • Reduction of overall dimensions of the drive
  • Reduction of transportation, installation and maintenance costs.

Improvement of the Downhole Equipment Working Conditions

  • Reducing the number of well workovers due to emulsification by 4.3 times
  • Reducing the number of well workovers due to rod breakage and unscrewing by 2.1 times
  • Reducing the total number of workovers of the well stock analyzed and appropriate increase of MTBF periods of the wells by 1.4 times
  • Increase of the wells MTBF period versus the average value for PJSC TATNEFT by 364 days

CHAIN DRIVE OF DOWNHOLE SUCKER ROD PUMPS TSP 80 6 1/4

The chain drive of downhole sucker rod pumps tsp 80 6 1/4 is designed to drive the downhole sucker rod pumps.
Patent No. 2283969.

FEATURES:

  • Stroke length of 6 m (fixed)
  • Favorable law of rod motion (with a uniform speed throughout the most part of the stroke length)
  • Maximum speed of the rods is 1.7 times lower than that of a beam type analogue
  • Multiple metal content reduction versus the beam type long stroke analogues.

ADVANTAGES:

  • Possibility of deep wells production with application of sucker rod pumps
  • Possibility of producing high-flow-rate wells with application of sucker rod pumps, including production of extra viscous oil
  • Possibility of producing wells with additional production strings of small diameter without loss of productivity
  • Reduction of dynamic loads, increasing the life of the downhole equipment in the operation of high-flow-rate wells with application of sucker rod pumps
  • Reduction of specific energy consumption for lifting the production up to 50% versus the application of electrical submersible pump
  • As opposed to the electrical submersible pumps, it provides an opportunity to regulate the mode of the well production within the technical characteristics of the drive without any loss of efficiency and any need to bring in crews of remedial well servicing to replace the unit with the one of a different standard size.

DUAL COMPLETION PRODUCTION OF TWO INDIVIDUAL LAYERS IN ONE WELL

The method of dual completion production is designed for simultaneous production of two or more layers in one well.

APPLICATION:

  • Wells having significant differences between the reservoir properties and characteristics of oil in the penetrated section
  • Watered well with high pressure drop
  • Bringing into production the low productivity layer adding it to the already producing formation, since production operation by a single well is unprofitable
  • Wells with a large interval between producing layers.

TECHNOLOGICAL EFFICIENCY:

  • Increasing the profitability of individual wells by involving other layers into production or the layers of the same reservoir with differing properties
  • Reducing the total volume of drilling opearions by means of using the wellbore of one well and arranging simultaneous (joint) production of hydrocarbon reserves from different layers with application of a single well spacing pattern.

Cost-Effective Implementation

As of January 01, 2019, dual completion technologies (DCP, DCP/I) are applied at 2,174 wells. Total additional production from the DCP and DCP/I wells amounted to 17,072 thousand tonnes since the beginning of the dual production/injection units operation. The average increase of the crude oil production rate per well amounted to 4.2 tonnes/day since the start of the units’ operation. The number of DCP and DCP/I units, which were introduced and put into operation in 2018 amounted to 270 wells.

DUAL COMPLETION FOR INJECTION INTO TWO LAYERS THROUGH A SINGLE WELL

The dual completion and injection technology (DCI) is the injection of process fluid through a single well into different formations (or a stack of formations) at a differentiated pressures in accordance with the reservoir properties of each formation to ensure the more uniform depletion of reservoirs penetrated by the wells.

APPLICATION:

  • Wells having essential variances of the layers' reservoir properties
  • To bring into production the low productivity layer adding it to the already producing formation, since production operation by a single well is unprofitable
  • Wells with a large interval in depth between producing layers.

TECHNOLOGICAL EFFICIENCY:

  • Reducing the total volume of drilling operations by means of using the wellbore of one well
  • Possibility of simultaneous production of a number of layers with different reservoir properties
  • Increasing profitability of individual wells through involvement of other production targets or layers with varying reservoir properties of within one and the same production target.

Cost-Effective Implementation

As of January 01, 2019, the DCI technology was introduced and is in operation at 781 injection wells. The additional production of responding production wells amounted to 3,087 thousand tonnes of crude oil from the beginning of implementation.
